Just five places remain for The Academy, a new international sports leaders conference in Lausanne supported by TSE Consulting, with registration set to officially close on Sunday (May 10).

The Academy, scheduled to take place on May 27 and 28 at the newly-renovated Olympic Museum in Lausanne, has already confirmed the participation of a wide range of organisations from across the sports world, including National Olympic Committees and International Federations.

The conference is designed to allow participants to hear insights from business, entertainment and political experts and leave with the practical tools needed to put these insights into action for the benefit of themselves and their organisations.

The two-day programme will consist of keynote speeches, presentations and interactive sessions, aimed at exploring three key themes - revenues, promotion and influence.

Nick Pink, regional development manager of the International Cricket Council (ICC), explained why he is looking forward to the event.

“The Academy provides us at the ICC and our member federations with a unique opportunity to listen, engage and network with some of the leading experts supporting global and national sports organisations,” he said.

“It is a great platform from which to further develop our sport in an ever-increasing and competitive market place.

“We have identified the Academy as a key event to ensure we remain supportive of our member federations, whilst ensuring we continue to learn and develop as an International Federation.”
