Outgoing European Athletics President Hansjorg Wirz ©Getty ImagesManifestos will be presented by the three official candidates to replace Hansjorg Wirz as European Athletics President during a special "Meet Your Future President" session in Prague tomorrow.


The three confirmed candidates, France's Jean Gracia, Norway's Svein Arne Hansen and Antti Pihlakoski of Finland, will address European Athletics Member Federations as well as Council and Commission members.

The candidates will be given 12 minutes each to present their strategy for the future of the continental body before a question and answer session of up to two hours.

Incumbent President Wirz will hand over to the new head at the European Athletics Congress in Bled, Slovenia, on April 11 after 16 years of leading the organisation.

The session will take place between at 9am at the Clarion Congress Hotel, as the ongoing European Indoor Championships continues in the Czech capital.

Meanwhile European Athletics has announced that SPAR International has extended its sponsorship of live streaming its championship events to the end of 2015.

SPAR, the food retailers who have been the principal sponsor of European Athletics since 1996, and whose current main contract runs until the end of 2016, are offering support which ensures professional English-language commentary.

Worldwide online access to the live stream and Video on Demand will also be provided, except in territories geo-blocked according to Eurovision requirements for internet rights.

Other events which will be covered by the agreement this year include the European Athletics Team Championships set for Cheboksary, Russia, on June 20 and 21 and the SPAR European Cross Country Championships scheduled for Toulon-Hyeres in France on December 13.
