Shimano will be the official results and live streaming sponsor of the 2015 USRowing Masters National Championships among other events over the next year, USRowing have announced.
The Japanese manufacturing company will also have a presence at the 2015 USRowing Youth National Championships as well as the year-ending USRowing Annual Convention.
Shimano successfully sponsored the 2014 Masters National Championships but this year the deal has been extended and the company will also be involved with the Youth National Championships.
"It's great to have Shimano coming back as a partner for this year's events," USRowing Event Manager A.J. Dominique said.
"They will once again present the results at the 2015 USRowing Masters National Championships.
"Shimano is taking some really creative steps to provide amenities for the competitors, and we think their presence will be a real bonus to these events."
The deal solidifies the relationship between the two companies and John Geary of Shimano Rowing Dynamics says they are looking forward to sponsoring the events in 2015.
"Shimano Rowing is excited to be partnered again with USRowing as a sponsor for several premier regattas and events in 2015," he said.
"We are taking steps toward providing the athletes with a more interactive experience off the water, before and after their racing competition.
"We want athletes and coaches to have the opportunity to experience the Shimano equipment in a low-risk, low-pressure atmosphere and build their own conclusions about Shimano's equipment safety and performance attributes.
"We had a great opportunity to work closely with USRowing in 2014 at the master's nationals, and the positive collaboration between both organizations allowed us to be comfortable expanding our sponsorship to USRowing Youth Nationals in 2015."
The 2015 USRowing Masters National Championships are due to take place in Camden, New Jersey, from August 13 to 16, while the Youth National Championships are scheduled to be held in Sarasota-Bradenton, Florida from June 12 to 14.
