President of the Association of National Olympic Committees ANOC Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Sabah has received a special award from FINA ©FINAAssociation of National Olympic Committees President Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Sabah has been given a special award by the International Aquatics Federation (FINA) to recognise his support for swimming. 


Sheikh Ahmad, who is also President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), received the award from Julio César Maglione during the 3rd FINA World Aquatics Convention in Doha. 
 
The ANOC chief claimed the award illustrated the excellent relationship that currently exists between the International Federations and the National Olympic Committees.

Sheikh Ahmad also thanked the State of Qatar represented by the Qatari Olympic Committee general secretary Sheikh Saud Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani for the warm hospitality and patronage of Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
