"Get Involved", which is funded by the Coca-Cola Australia Foundation, provides an opportunity for people of all impairment types to experience the positive physical and social benefits of sport and further develop their potential.

The APC has worked with national sporting federations to develop tailored programmes and ensure they're safe and well-staffed.

Sports on offer include wheelchair basketball, boccia, goalball, table tennis, athletics, rowing, cycling and swimming.

"Get Involved" events are held at local sports clubs around the country and youths who attend can receive both group and one-on-one coaching in their chosen sport, as well as ongoing support from their local sport club.

To secure a placement in any upcoming "Get Involved" days, contact the event organiser using the details listed here.

More events will be scheduled in 2015 for each sport.
