The event is set to feature approximately 1,300 athletes from 90 countries and is scheduled to take place in Qatar's Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium from October 22 to 31.

"Doha2015.org is the place to find all the most up-to-date news, schedules and information about this fantastic event and will be constantly updated with lots of other useful content for spectators and the media," said Craig Spence, the IPC's director of communications.

"We expect athletes to arrive in Doha with the clear intention of putting on their best performances, not only aiming to become world champions, but to assess their competition ahead of Rio 2016.

"The website will therefore be packed with athlete interviews, biographies and previews and reviews of 2015 IPC Athletics competitions so that fans can follow the build-up from there as well."
