Clients of JTA include the London 2017 IAAF World Championships, Sochi 2014, Manchester United, the Russian International Olympic University and the World Taekwondo Federation.

Over the last three years, JTA has increased exports as a percentage of turnover from 47 per cent to 68 per cent, achieved overseas earnings growth, particularly within the Olympic Movement, and undergone rapid growth across many developing and emerging markets, including Russia, Turkey, South Korea, Taiwan and Central Asia.

JTA formally received the prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade today, one of only two UK public relations agencies to do so in 2014, following a record-breaking year with exports rising by more than 20 per cent.

The Queen's representative in Kent, the Lord Lieutenant of Kent, Viscount De L'Isle, conferred the award on JTA with a Grant of Appointment and a commemorative crystal bowl during a special awards ceremony held at their head office in Tunbridge Wells.

"Winning a Queen's Award is the highest honour that can be bestowed on a UK company and testament to our hard work and growth in emerging global markets," said Jon Tibbs, founder and chairman of JTA.

"We envisage continued growth in our existing markets and we have already identified new markets in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East that show a great deal of promise for 2015 and beyond.

"These are exciting times to be a British communications agency working in international sport."

JTA was initially awarded the accolade on April 21, the Queen's 88th birthday, with representatives having the honour of meeting the Queen and Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh at a special reception hosted at Buckingham Palace in July.
