They comply with WADA's code and the new anti-doping rules will be applied during the Incheon 2014 Asian Para Games from October 18 to 24.

"APC has successfully incorporated all mandatory articles of the World Anti-Doping Code into its rules," said Emiliano Simonelli, who is in charge of Code compliance for WADA, in a letter to APC Medical and Sports Science Committee chairperson Dr Tetsuo Suyama.

The APC's head of anti-doping, Dr Badrul Amini Abd Rashid, said the approval by WADA was a "milestone" for the organisation.

It will be the first time the body's own anti-doping rules will be used in the Asian Para Games.

The rules stipulate the APC will work with WADA, International Federations and National Anti-Doping Organisations to ensure there is co-ordination in doping control during the Incheon Games

It will also report report information about all completed tests, including results, to WADA.
