The BMA, which secured a landmark CHF35 million (£28 million/$39 million/€29 million) deal with Hong Kong-based First Commitment International Trade in July, covers AIBA's World Series of Boxing - launched in 2010 and entering Season V with 16 teams in January next year, AIBA Pro Boxing (APB), which begins on October 24 this year, and AIBA Open Boxing.

"This is an important time for AIBA and the sport of boxing and I am thrilled to be joining at a time of such revolutionary change," Gough said.

"Having worked for some of the world's biggest brands and events, I am convinced that APB and World Series of Boxing can establish themselves as top sports competitions on the international stage."
