They also took gold at the Asian Youth Games here last year and will be tipped to secure top honours at this event.

The Games officially get underway tomorrow with the highly anticipated Opening Ceremony.

The 3x3 basketball competition is due to begin on Monday (August 18) with gold medals set to be decided on the final day of competition, August 26.

The sport will be played at the Wutaishan Basketball Venue, where the tennis courts have been temporarily renovated to allow for a basketball court to take shape.
