The National Sports Lottery was last relaunched in 2011 ©National Olympic Committee of CambodiaA National Sports Lottery has been relaunched to support the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia.

Around a quarter of revenue from the sale of tickets will go towards funding the Olympic Committee, and it is hoped it will grow sport in the country.

A Memorandum of Understanding between the Lottery Commission and the Olympic Committee has been signed.

The Lottery has previously existed, but has lay dormant for more than a year.

It was last relaunched in 2011.

An event to celebrate the reviving of the Lottery was held at the Olympic Committee's headquarters in Phnom Penh.

Dr Thong Khon, Minister of the Ministry of Tourism and chairman of the Commission, was among those at the celebration.
