The notice boards were installed at the five official partner universities of the Games in an effort to help promote the event, due to take place in a little over a year's time.

Gwangju 2015 believe the notice boards will spread the atmosphere of participation among university students with the hope of increasing excitement and enthusiasm within the core demographic of the competition's supporters.

The boards have been installed at the partner Universities in Gwangju, Chonnam National University, Chosun University, and Honam University, with two more set to be installed at the partner Universities in Seoul, Hanyang University and Myongji University, tomorrow.

D-Day notice boards have also been installed at 112 key locations around Gwangju, including the City Hall and offices, the Gwangju 2015 Organising Committee headquarters, district offices and community centre, in order to promote the Universiade to the general public.

The Gwangju Universiade will be a global sports festival, welcoming around 20,000 participants from 170 countries under the theme "Light Up Tomorrow" from July 3 to 14, it is claimed.
