Gwangju 2015 has renewed and redesigned its official website as it looks to portray a more "sporty" and "active" image in reflection of the Summer Universiade, due to take place in the South Korean city in around 400 days time.
The new website offers a new interactive map, giving visitors the opportunity to glance at the locations and distances between each venue, while also adding images of national and international athletes to give a feel of the sporting talent on offer at the Games.
Links to social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook have been added to the site in order to promote active communication between fans of the Universiade, with online blogs aso incorporated onto the page.
Additionally, a newly produced online publication monthly newsletter will be available on the website, which gives updates on all things Gwangju ahead of the Games in 2015.
Other features of the renovated website include a new National University Sports Federation Service section, featuring question and answer and frequently asked question areas, allowing athletes to keep in touch and gain necessary information during their preparations for the Games.
Following this latest redesign, Gwangju 2015 organisers have also revealed the website will undergo a further "complete makeover" in December "in order to meet all the requirements necessary for Games time" with this website opening in April, 2015,
Another alteration will see a final launch occurring before the start of competitions in July 2015.
