April 29 - Katja Saarinen will be one of a number of Finnish Paralympic athletes to visit schools in May ©Getty Images The National Parlaympic Committee of Finland has announced a series of visits to schools by some of its top athletes as part of the Para-School Day Tour next month.

This will be the fourth edition of the event and will see Sochi 2014 stars including snowboarder Matti Suur-Hamari, Alpine skier Katja Saarinen, cross-country skiers Maija Jarvela and Sini Pyy, and wheelchair curler Sari Karjalainen taking part, while wheelchair racer Henry Manni and shot put and javelin thrower Aleksi Kirjonen will also be on the tour.

The tour will visit 10 schools across Finland from May 6 to 22.

Nearly 3,000 students and teachers will take part in information sessions on the Paralympic Movement while also getting the opportunity to try out some Para-sports on each stop.

May 6: Kuusikon koulu, Hovitie 11, Vantaa

May 7: Mäntymäen koulu, Tallbackavägen 2, Kauniainen

May 13: Hyrylän ylä-aste, Sahatie 1, Tuusula

May 14: Jalavan koulu, Havumetsäntie 4, Lohja

May 15: Viialan koulu, Opinpolku 5, Myllykoski

May 16: Herralan koulu, Homesojantie 1, Ilmajoki

May 19: Korkalovaaran peruskoulu, Miehentie 10, Rovaniemi

May 20: Lintulammen koulu, Haapanatie 33, Oulu

May 21: Katajan koulu, Katajantie 23, Ylivieska

May 22: Palosaaren koulu, Wolffintie 25, Vaasa
