The Britons finished in fourth and second in the fifth and sixth races on day three, to remain two points clear of Bruno Jourdren, Nicolas Vimont Vicary and Eric Flageul of France

But the in-form crew are Norway's Aleksander Wang-Hansen, Per Eugen Kristiansen and Marie Solberg who won both of the day's races, by nine and 32 seconds, to move up to third overall.

A further point behind, in fourth place, is the Australian crew of Colin Harrison, John Harris and Russell Boaden, while the German trio of Jens Kroeger, Siegmund Mainka and Robert Prem lie fifth after a disappointing day in which they finished fifth and seventh in their two races.

But there was plenty to celebrate for the German team with Heiko Kroeger extending his lead in the 16-boat 2.4mR fleet after another superb day on the water.

The 47-year-old, who won gold at Sydney 2000 and silver at London 2012, has only finished out of the top two on one occasion across the six-race series, and on day three he notched up a one second and a 17-second victory in the two races.

Damien Seguin of France remains three points behind in second place after seventh and fourth place finishes, his worst day yet on home waters.

Conversely, after a victory and a second place on day three, Megan Pascoe is leading the British charge in third place, as she moved 10 points clear of compatriot Helena Lucas in fourth.

The action continues in both Paralympic classes in Hyères tomorrow, before the regatta comes to a head on Saturday (April 26).
