Stuart Beaver, partnership marketing and community engagement director at Lloyds Banking Group, said: "We are extremely proud to have been recognised for our London 2012 programme.

"We had a constant vision throughout our partnership: to inspire and support young people, communities and businesses all over Britain on their journey to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond.

"This created a positive impact which demonstrated that a sponsorship campaign could change the way people thought about and transacted with a sponsor, which was of particular value to Lloyds during a challenging period for the banking sector."

Bank of Scotland has been a subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group since 2009.
