March 10 - International sport marketing consultancy firm Repucom have been announced as the latest partner for next month's SportAccord International Convention in the Turkish resort of Belek.
Having passed the one month to go milestone last week, the 12th edition of SportAccord International Convention will encompass congresses and general assemblies of more than 100 International sports federations, with sponsors, host and bid cities, architects, sports lawyers, broadcasters and Organising Committees also present to discuss key issues affecting the industry.
After spending the last 25 years becoming the research and consultancy provider of choice for over 1,000 of the top brands and organisations in the sports business, Repucom is seen as ideally positioned to aid the convention, it is claimed.
The announcement of their role follows the appointment of various other firms to different partnering roles in recent weeks, including tourism firm Event Scotland and finance giant PwC.
"We are very pleased to have this opportunity to help SportAccord Convention in obtaining a better picture of what this year's delegates and people in the sports business more generally want and expect from the event," said Repucom global director of marketing and communications Thomas Zimmermann.
Similar enthusiasm was conveyed by SportAccord Convention managing director Nis Halt.
He claimed "having Repucom on board will help us to sharpen our efforts to deliver maximum value to delegates present and future."
