Organisers have also released finals passes for the tournament, dye to be held across Spain from August 30 to September 14.

The venue pass will secure you a seat at 10 sessions - a total of 15 games - in arenas hosting preliminary round matches.

These are Bilbao, Gran Canaria, Granada and Sevilla.

A venue pass for arenas in Barcelona or Madrid, which host matches at the final stages of the competition, will guarantee you a seat at seven matches.

Organisers say buying a venue pass will equate to a 20 per cent saving on the official price for the sessions.

Venue passes can be purchased on the Spain 2014 official ticketing website from as low as €103.20 (£94/$141,000) for 15 games.

Spectators need to specify which city they want to watch matches in.

Finals passes will get you into the final and the third-place game.

They can be bought be anyone who has already purchased a venue pass for any of the six host cities, and start at €115 (£84/$158,000) for the two games.

Tickets for the FIBA Basketball World Cup went on sale in July.

Day passes will go on sale on May 5 and the session tickets on July 1.

The United States will defend the title they won in Turkey in 2010 when the competition gets underway.
