Three stamps featuring famous Olympic ice hockey champions have been launched at a special ceremony in Moscow ©Sochi 2014December 27 - Three stamps featuring famous Olympic ice hockey champions have been launched at a special ceremony at Moscow's CSKA Ice Sports Complex ahead of Sochi 2014.

As part of the "XXII Olympic Winter Games of 2014 in Sochi: Legends of sport" series, Alexander Ragulin, Anatoli Firsov and Vsevolod Bobrov (pictured top) are pictured on the dedicated stamps, of which replicas were presented to the CSKA Hockey Hall of Fame Museum as part of the Games' Philatelic Programme.

The ceremony was attended by Olympic and multiple world champions Vladimir Petrov and Boris Mikhailov, the management of CSKA ice hockey club and a representative from the Russian Post Office.

Three-time Olympic and 10-time world champion Ragulin played for the national team more than a 100 times, scoring 14 goals at the World and European Championships and Olympic Games.

He was the named the best defender at the World Championship in 1966 and participated in the legendary Canada-USSR Summit Series in 1972.

Firsov was part of the same Soviet Union team as Ragulin that claimed gold at Innsbruck 1964, Grenoble 1968 and Sapporo 1972, and the eight-time world champion scored 66 goals at the World and Europe Championships and Olympics.

He was recognised as the best attacker at World and European Championships four times.

Bobrov participated in both the Summer and Winter Olympics, having played football and ice hockey at international level.

He played 25 games and scored 34 goals at the World and European Championships and Olympic Games, and captained the national team to a gold medal at Cortina d'Ampezzo 1956.
