December 16 - Olympic champions Kaillie Humphries and Heather Moyse have been named on the Canadian Sochi 2014 bobsleigh team officially revealed today in Montreal.
As well as the Vancouver 2010 gold medallists, three of the bronze medal winning four-man line up from those Games - namely Lyndon Rush, David Bissett and Lascelles Brown - also feature on the Canadian squad set to compete at the Sanki Sliding Centre at next winter's Games.
Jennifer Ciochetti and Chelsea Valois, both gold medallists at the World Championships, have also been named to the team, along with World Championships silver medallist Jesse Lumsden and bronze medallist Justin Kripps, as well as Vancouver 2010 Olympians Neville Wright and Chris Spring.
Bryan Barnett, meanwhile, will compete as a newcomer to bobsleigh coming from the world of athletics - he raced at the Beijing 2008 Olympics in the 200 metres.
Olympic rookies Cody Sorensen, Ben Coakwell, James McNaughton, Tim Randall and Graeme Rinholm complete the Canadian Sochi 2014 line up for now, although the Canadian Olympic Committee said that additional names could be added before the Games next February.
