November 30 - The men's Algerian goalball team will be looking to qualify for the 2014 World Championships as they travel to Nairobi for the final continental tournament of the year as strong favourites for the title next week.
The regional qualifier begins on Monday (December 2) and will see just the top two teams progress to next year's showpiece event, with the winner being crowned African champions.
Algeria, the only African team to have participated in the London 2012 Paralympic Games, will come into the week-long tournament in a strong position, while teams from Morocco, Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, Rwanda and Ghana are likely to do battle for the other qualifying spot.
