It is a great pleasure to welcome the SportAccord International Convention family members in the beautiful city of Belek in 2014. We are very happy and honoured to host the biggest and most important annual sports gathering in the world.

Belek, one of the favourable places of Antalya, the most important touristic destination in the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, is ready to offer you all of its beauties. This is a place where sport meets nature and culture. It is a natural marvel with hundreds of plants and bird species and is surrounded by historical and cultural areas.

Belek has great facilities for Olympic and extreme sports, with capacity of hosting major international sports events. World Championships, World Cups of numerous sports with and more than 1000 football training camps are held every year.

New modern sports venues are created for the development of sport. An Olympic complex, named Gloria Olympic Arena is being built right now and will be inaugurated in October 2014. It is a very large complex covering an area of 105,000 square meters. There are 3 swimming pools, an athletics stadium with a capacity of 1600 spectators and facilities for athletics, gymnastics, boxing, fencing, judo, wrestling, handball, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, weightlifting and dancing.
