The Womens Rugby World Cup will take place from August 1-17October 29 - The draw for the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup draw will be streamed live from Paris tomorrow, it has been announced.


With the tournament due to start in less than a year, August 10 until 17 2014, players from each of the 12 participating nations will be watching eagerly to see who they will face in the competition.

The draw will see the 12 qualified teams, who have been divided into four bands, drawn into three pools.

The four teams in each pool will then play each other once, with the winner of each pool, as well as the second placed team with the highest number of points, making their way to the semi-finals and a chance to compete for the title.

All preliminary round games will be held at the FFR Marcoussis and the semi-finals and finals due to take place at Stade Jean Bouin in the French capital.

International Rugby Board (IRB) chairman Bernard Lapasset and French Federation of Rugby (FFR) President Pierre Camou will be among those in attendance at the event, at the invitation of the Mayor of Paris.

France captain Marie Alice Yahe and England's Danielle Waterman, who starred in her country's performance in 2010, will be among those on hand for the live draw.

The draw will take place at Hotel de Ville, Paris, with the event being streamed live at 11:30 (GMT +1).
