September 27 - Badminton England have announced the appointment of leading goal and posts manufacturers Harrod UK as an official supplier for next week's London Grand Prix Gold event at the Copper Box Arena on the Olympic Park.
Harrod will supply Badminton World Federation (BWF) approved badminton posts and competition nets for the inaugural event, which is due to take place from Tuesday (October 1) to Sunday (October 6).
Harrod were the sole suppliers to the London 2012 Olympics of hockey and football goals, nets and shelters and will also supply equipment at next year's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
"Harrod UK are delighted and proud to be the official post and net supplier to the 2013 London Grand Prix," said Harrod UK sales and marketing manager Kevin Utton.
Badminton England head of major events and competitions Nicola Moloney: "We are delighted to have secured Harrod UK as an official supplier.
"The Grand Prix is going to be a very exciting event and it is so important that we secure great quality equipment."
