The British Basketball League have signed a partnership with Haven HolidaysSeptember 24 - As the new season draws near, the British Basketball League (BBL) have announced a partnership with Haven Holidays, which will see clubs deliver basketball sessions at holiday parks from early next year.

With the 2013-2014 season due to get underway this Friday (September 27), the deal marks another commercial deal for the BBL, who also signed up Eurosport as official broadcast partners this week.

"I'm genuinely thrilled to welcome Haven Holidays into The BBL," said BBL commercial director David Leyden Dunbar.

"It struck me from the moment we began speaking with Haven that we share so many common values not least putting families at the very heart of everything we do combined with a strong desire to offer unbeatable value for money.

"It was always important that any relationship we forged with Haven was about more than just attaching their brand name to the League and by offering activity sessions during our off season, run by our professional players, at some of Haven's most popular resorts I'm confident we're achieved this".

Haven's sports and leisure manager Gordon Bush added:" We're always looking for new experiences for our guests and we are all very excited about our partnership with the BBL.

"It's a fantastic opportunity for kids to experience something really unique whilst on holiday with us."

The BBL basketball sessions at Haven holiday parks are expected to become available at Easter-time in several of Haven's coastal parks, and further information will become available on both parties' websites in due course.
