Handball will make its long-awaited return to the Copper Box on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park next month as "the box that rocks" plays host to a tournament between five teams from London, Milton Keynes and New York in the first Copper Box International Tournament.August 27 - Handball will make its long-awaited return to the Copper Box on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London next month as "the box that rocks" plays host to a tournament between five teams from London, Milton Keynes and New York in the first Copper Box International Tournament.


The London Angels, London GD United and London GD Handball Club will represent the host city and will be joined by the newly-formed Oly Cats Handball Club from Milton Keynes, headed by Great Britain captain Bobby White, and New York City Team Handball Club from across the Atlantic in the tournament which will see some of the stars of London 2012 return to the scene of the action.

The action on September 13 will begin with White's Oly Cats taking on the visitors from New York, before the new permanent tenants, London GD Handball Club, face off with the London Angels, New York City, and finally the Oly Cats.

Tickets are now available for the tournament, priced at £6.50 for adults and £3.50 for concessions
