Jessica Fox secured the 2013 Canoe Slalom World Cup series in the C1 disciplineAugust 25 - Jessica Fox, the Australian teenager who took silver at London 2012, has sealed her recent dominance of women's white-water canoeing, winning the final race of the season in Bratislava to take the 2013 International Canoe Federation (ICF) Canoe Slalom World Cup series in the C1 discipline by a crushing margin of more than 60 points.

Fox also ended the season as runner-up in the women's K1 series, just six points behind Jana Dukátová of Slovakia, whose second-place in her home event, behind Émilie Fer of France, was enough to secure a decisive advantage.

In the men's races, Sebastian Schubert's win in Bratislava carried him to overall victory in the K1.

Hannes Aigner and Fabian Dörfler completed a German sweep of the leading overall placings.

Germany also had overall victory to celebrate in the men's C1 series, where Sideris Tasiadis paddled well enough in Bratislava to take the title by two points, in spite of a triumph on home water for Michal Martikán, Slovakia's Olympic bronze medallist.

In C2, another home win, this time by twins Pavol and Peter Hochschorner, was not enough to deprive French pair Gauthier Klauss and Matthieu Péché of overall victory.
