Italian car manufacturers Fiat have signed a deal to become the title sponsors of England Netball's upcoming three-match international series against South Africa next monthAugust 20 - Italian car manufacturers Fiat have signed a deal to become the title sponsors of England Netball's three-match international series against South Africa next month, whilst the hosts have also announced their 12-woman team for the matches.

The series, which will be known as the Fiat International Netball Series, will take place between September 22 and 27, with the first match set to take place at the University of Bath one month tomorrow, before Wembley Arena hosts the second match on September 25 and the University of Worcester stages the final game two days later.

The deal cements Fiat's relationship with England Netball with this deal having served as a partner of the organisation previously, as well as title sponsors of the Superleague.

England Netball director of marketing and commercial Joanna Adams said: "Fiat have been a fantastic supporter of England Netball and with the phenomenal growth in participation of our sport, a 34 per cent increase in the last four years and sell out venues at the last three internationals we are delighted that they have increased their partnership with us."

Brane Bosancic, corporate marketing manager at Fiat said "We are delighted about our continued support of England Netball and of the forthcoming International Series.

"It is fantastic to be associated with such a high performing sport and with its loyal members and fans - here's to a really successful series."

World number six-ranked South Africa are sure to offer the hosts a stern test, but England will go into the series as favourites after demolishing world champions Australia 3-0 in a series in January this year, followed up with another series whitewash on Jamaican soil in April.

England have also confirmed their 12-member squad for this series, which will be captained by national team stalwart Pamela Cookey, who won a bronze medal with the team at the Commonwealth Games at both Melbourne 2006 and Delhi 2010.

Vice-captaining the side will be Manchester Thunder's Sara Bayman, who led her domestic side to their first ever Fiat Superleague title last year, along with Joanne Harten, Kadeen Corbin, Mia Ritchie, Sasha Corbin, Serena Guthrie, Jade Clarke, Geva Mentor, Eboni Beckford Chambers, Stacey Francis, Lindsay Keable.

The opening fixture in Bath has already sold out, but tickets are still available for the matches in Worcester and at Wembley.
