150217106July 24 - Tickets for the 2014 International Basketball Federation (FIBA) World Cup in Spain have gone on sale for the first time today with the innovative "Follow Your Team" tickets, which will allow fans the option to secure tickets for all of their team's matches before they have even qualified.

There are two of these packages that are currently on sale: the "Follow Your Team - Preliminary Round Pass", which will grant the holder access to five preliminary round matches in which their chosen team feature, and the "Follow Your Team - All Rounds Pass", which will secure the holder tickets for all games played by their chosen nation.

Though there are only two teams that have secured their place at the World Cup so far - hosts Spain and holders the United States - fans can still get their hands on "Follow Your Team" tickets even if the team they have selected has not qualified, and will also receive a 10 per cent discount on their ticket if they purchase a "Follow Your Team" ticket for a nation that is yet to qualify.

The 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain is due to take place from August 30 to September 14.
