The Frenchman Houdet came out on top in the men's singles final at Roland Garros against Kunieda, the man ranked number one in the world, before teaming up with the Japanese star to defeat Gordon Reid of Great Britain and Ronald Vink of the Netherlands in the men's doubles final last week.

And the pair will be looking to go one better than they did in 2010 at SW19, when they were defeated by Dutchman Robin Ammerlaan and his partner Stefan Olsson of Sweden in the final.

They will have to get past reigning champions Michael Jeremiasz of France and Tom Egberink of the Netherlands however, who defeated the Dutch pair of Ammerlaan and Vink in the final to clinch the title.

The 21-year-old world number six Reid will play alongside experienced Dutchman Maikel Scheffers, who has won every doubles Grand Slam title throughout his distinguished career, as his team-mate from Roland Garros Vink teams up with France's Frederic Cattaneo, who also tasted defeat in the final at Roland Garros in 2012.

The formidable Dutch duo of Jiske Griffioen and Aniek van Koot will also be looking to build on their win at Roland Garros in the women's doubles, and they could face the pair they defeated in the final last week, Germany's Sabine Ellerbrock and the Netherlands' Sharon Walraven.

World number three Lucy Shuker of Great Britain will play with another Dutchwoman, Marjolein Buis, as another Briton Jordanne Whiley teams up with Japan's Yui Kamiji for the second time after they won the Korean Open on their debut together last week.

The wheelchair tennis event at Wimbledon is due take place from July 5 to July 7, with £38,000 ($60,000/€45,000) up for grabs for competitors.
