May 30 - Belek, which is located in Turkey's Antalya Province on the Mediterranean, will host next year's SportAccord International Convention, it was announced here today.
The conference will be organised in association with the Serenas Group and is expected to attract more than 2,000 delegates.
Hafize Özlem, Serenas Group's Sports Business Development manager, promised "another very beautiful city in 2014" as the Closing Ceremony of this year's Convention here today.
Belek had last year hosted the biggest golf tournament ever to take place in Turkey, the Turkish Airlines World Golf Final, which included Tiger Woods.
"Belek is one of the most popular places to visit in Antalya, which is the most important tourist destination on the Mediterranean coastline of Turkey," said Özlem.
"Our goal is to meet all of your expectations during the biggest and most important sports convention in the world.

Belek is home to more than 30 four-star and five-star hotels and is served by Antalya International Airport, which is served by Aeroflot, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, EasyJet, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines and Turkish Airlines, among others.
"The good thing is that it's every easy to reach Belek from Antalya International Airport, which is only 30 minutes away," said Özlem.
"There are direct and connecting flights from 20 cities all around the world.
"We are very excited and our team is ready to welcome you in Belek."
The dates of the Convention will be announced later.
