Urka olnir_of_SloveniaOctober 6 - The Post of Slovenia is issuing a stamp in honour of the gold medal won by judoka Urška Žolnir at the London 2012 Olympics.

Žolnir is not just the only gold medallist from this summer's Games for Slovenia, but is her country's only ever female Olympic champion.

The -63kg judoka, who was Slovenia's Flagbearer at Beijing 2008, also won a bronze medal at Athens 2004.

As well as Žolnir's gold medal, Slovenia won a silver in athletics and bronze medals in shooting and rowing at London 2012.

The Slovenian Post Office issues stamps honouring every gold medal won by their athletes at Olympic Games.
