BPC Sept_23September 23 - The Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CPB) is to host four seminars called Brazilian Paralympic Sport and its relationship with Universities.


The seminars will showcase the Brazilian Paralympic Academy, which is designed to improve the technical development of Brazilian Paralympic sport and staff training associated with it.

Members of the Executive Boards of the academy as well as the CPB will attend the seminars, the first of which takes place in Florianópolis at the University of Santa Catarina.

The CPB is encouraging teachers in related areas to attend the seiminars and contribute to the development of the Brazilian Paralympic Movement.

The seminars will also announce that financial support, in conjunction with the National Research Council and Ministry of Sports, for research projects aimed at developing high performance Paralympic sport will be available.

With Brazil hosting the next Paralympic Games in 2016, the CPB is leaving no stone unturned in its efforts to top their London 2012 team's achievements this summer and develop Paralympic sports in the country.
