Ahead of the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio, the partnership between USOC and Deloitte allows the American athletes to get the required resources, professional services and insight to be able to compete to the best of their ability, organisers claim.

"Deloitte's values of teamwork, perseverance, and leadership in action are exhibited by every US Olympian and Paralympian," USOC chief marketing officer Lisa Baird said.

"We are excited to be able to continue our relationship with Deloitte and facilitate these inspiring forums with our athletes and students nationwide."

The Olympic and Paralympic Games could be coming to an American city in 2024 after USOC put forward Boston as their official contender last month.
