Team Fiji is aiming to send more than 500 athletes to participate at Port Moresby 2015 across a number of sports, including athletics, basketball, bodybuilding, boxing, cricket, football, golf, hockey, karate, lawn bowls, netball, powerlifting, sailing, shooting, softball, squash, surfing, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, rugby sevens, triathlon, touch rugby, va'a, indoor and beach volleyball and weightlifting.

Chef De Mission Cathy Wong, who will also lead the team at the Rio 2016 Olympics, revealed earlier this year that the cost of sending the athletes to the Games, which are scheduled to take place from July 4 to 18, is expected to be in excess of $2 million (£1.3 million/€1.6 million).

Lottery tickets cost FJD2 (£0.65/$1/€0.80) for a leaf and FJD30 (£9.80/$15.30/€12.40) for a full book, and the closing date is set for January 30 next year, before the draw on February 27.
