Donna de Varona

Donna de Varona was the youngest swimmer to compete in the 1960 Olympics in Rome at just 13 years old. At Tokyo 1964, she earned gold medals in the 400 metres individual medley and as a member of the 4x100m freestyle relay team. After retiring she has enjoyed a successful career as a broadcaster and a campaigner for women's rights in sport.
