The company will provide accommodation booking services to Gwangju 2015 attendees while having the possibility to promote themselves as an official sponsor of the Games and use the official logo.

The signing of the agreement was done in the presence of Gwangju 2015 secretary general Kim Yun-seok and Oh Chang-hui, vice-president of Sebang.

"We are grateful that experienced company like the Sebang is joining us," said Kim.

"[And hope] both the 2015 Universiade and Sebang will flourish through the collaboration."

Sebang was established in 1960 as South Korea's first civilian-owned travel agency.

It was a major sponsor of the recent 2014 Asian Games in Incheon and is fast becoming a prominent international sport event sponsor.

"As an official sponsor, Sebang's experience will contribute the success of 2015 Universiade," said Oh.

The Gwangju 2015 Universiade will be held between July 3 and 15, 2015 with around 20,000 participants expected from 170 nations worldwide.
