WCF vice-president Ramsfjell (pictured top) will chair the six-strong commission, which also includes China's 2009 world champion Bingyu Wang; Canadian 2007 world champion Kelly Scott; 2003 world champion Ann Swisshelm of the United States; two-time world wheelchair curling champion and Paralympic silver medallist Michael McCreadie of Scotland and Swiss 2006 European champion Andi Schwaller.

One of the first tasks for the inaugural members will be to finalise the remit of the WCF Athlete Commission, as well as recommending the selection process for future members of the WCF Executive Board.

The WCF also announced the individuals selected to sit on its first Competitions and Rules Commission who will offer advice and recommendations to the WCF board and its member associations on competition and rule matters.

This body will be chaired by WCF President Kate Caithness and Executive Board member Graham Prouse, with competitions and development director Keith Wendorf also a member of the Commission.
