US and Mexico set for Illinois tussle

April 13 - The United States and Mexico will go head to head on April 15 and 17 at a dual action wrestling event in Illinois.
Team USA will be lead out by flyweight Louie Byrd, Marlen Esparza, Queen Underwood, Pedro Sosa, Tiffanie Hearn, Luis Arias and Lenroy Thompson.
Mexico is sending a strong squad to the event, which will feature the liles of Mariana Caballero, Silvia Torres, Reyna Virdiana Cortija, Francisco Alonso Melendez, Oscar Valdez Fierro and Carlos Barrera.
The event will kick begin at 8pm with two women's contests at the Restorations Ministries' Harvey Boxing Club.
But this Friday's (April 15) main event will see nine Olympic hopefuls from the two countries go head to head as well as acting as a fundraiser for the Restoration Ministries.
Sunday's (April 17) action is taking place at Thornton Township High School, and is set to see competition 13 different Olympic weight classes.
