Ping! initiative back on the table for 2012

April 9 - Sport England have today launched a new initiative to boost recreational table tennis across the country with £250,000 ($397,000/€304,000) of National Lottery funding having been set aside to pay for public ping pong tables in a project titled "Ping! the Public". 1 comment

ITTF World Tour to have $2.5 million prize fund

December 12 - The International Table Tennis Federation (ITFF) has announced a $2.5 million (£1.6 million/€1.9 million) prize fund for the 2012 ITTF World Tour, which will replace the Pro Tour.

November 27 - Judit Farago, the chief executive and competitions executive director at the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), said she is delighted with the quality on show at the four day London 2012 Olympic test event which has reached a conclusion at the ExCeL Arena.
