The Danish shooter scored 593 points to finish top of the podium in the Spanish city, one point ahead of Germany's Eva Roesken, while bronze went to Estonia's Anzela Voronova.

Roesken picked up her second silver medal of the day, along with compatriots Sandra Georg and Gudrun Wittmann, in the team competition.

The German trio finished behind the Swedish team of Marie Enqvist, Anna Normann and Elin Ahlin, who totalled 1,769 points to take gold, while the bronze medal went to Olivia Goberville, Catherine Houlmont and Christine Chuard of France.

France also took bronze in the men's 300m rifle team event with Cyril Graff, Valérian Sauveplane and Josselin Henry occupying the bottom step of the podium.

Ole Kristian Bryhn, Odd Ame Brekne and Kim Andr Lund secured gold for Norway, ahead of Swiss trio Marcel Buerge, Claude-Alain Delley and Oliver Schaffter.

However, France was celebrating in the individual competition as Graff fired his way to gold and a world record in the process.

He registered a score of 589 points to better the 586 set by Austria's Michael Podolak at last year's European Championships in Osijek, Croatia.

Silver and bronze went to Bryhn and Buerge respectively.

The other medals up for contention in Granada today came in the men's and women's 10m running target events.

Emil Martinsson of Sweden took the men's honours, and his fourth word title in the process, as he beat China's Zhai Yujia with a net score of six points to two.

The Swede already had two individual silver medals in the bag at these Championships in the 50m and 10m running target mixed events.

Defending champion Dmitry Romanov of Russia had to settle for bronze as he saw off Hungary's Laszlo Boros six hits to three.

Romanov's efforts were enough to see him take the team gold medal ahead China and Hungary.

In the women's competition there was gold for Russia as Julia Eydenzon claimed the individual title.

She secured her first world title after overcoming Viktoriya Rybovalova of Ukraine eight points to six in a tense 12-shot shoot-off.

Eydenzon's compatriot Olga Stepanova took home the bronze, winning her first medal at this level after claiming four junior European titles in her career so far.

The Russian beat China's Li Xue Yan, whose performance was enough to help secure the team gold medal for China alongside Su Li and Yang Zeng.

Russia took silver, with bronze going to Ukraine.
