The All Blacks had already sealed their 12th World Series title in 15 years after progression to the Cup quarterfinals yesterday, but topped off a superb weekend with a 52-33 victory over Australia.

Australia were looking to win their first London Sevens title since 2010 and took a 21-0 lead over the Series champions.

Fuelled by a remarkable 22 points from Gillies Kaka, New Zealand began to claw their way back into the fixture and ended Australia's title dreams on what was coach Michael O'Connor's last Series event in charge.

Hosts England bounced back from a slender 15-12 defeat at the hands of Australia to secure third place as they got the better of Fiji 26-19.

Seabelo Senatla scored his 11th, 12th and 13th tries of the London Sevens to help South Africa win the Plate by beating Kenya 38-7 in the final.

By doing so, Senatla is only the third player in the history of Sevens to score 13 or more tries in a tournament, and the first since the 2005 Paris Sevens.

The result ensures a second place finish in the World Series for South Africa as they ended the campaign 28 points behind New Zealand.

Canada continued their impressive run to the end to the 2013-2014 World Series as they beat Argentina 24-14 to claim the Bowl.

A topsy-turvy Series ended in silverware for the United States as they defeated Japan 36-12 to seal the Shield.

Japan will join the Series as a core side next season, replacing Spain who crashed out of the Bowl after a semi-final defeat to Argentina.
