Both firms will continue as master suppliers to the EJU after signing initial contracts in 2012.

The deals were finalised at the recent European Championships in Montpellier, France where the EJU also renewed contracts with its top suppliers SFJAM Noris and mybacknumber.com, as well as official suppliers HIKU, Judofashion and Materik.

Cedric Dermee, chief executive of DoubleD, which is the worldwide licence holder for combat sports on behalf of Adidas, signed the new deal with the EJU.

The company's judogi designs feature the world-famous three parallel bars, the same motif incorporated into Adidas' current official logo.

DoubleD is named after former French Olympic and world judo champion David Douillet.

Green Hill was established in 1964 and has a long tradition working with martial arts and combat sports including boxing, karate, kickboxing, sambo, taekwondo and mixed martial arts as well as weightlifting.

The firm, based in Tostedt, Germany has provided kit and equipment at a number of major Championships and was the official boxing equipment supplier at the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 and the official supplier for judo at the London 2012 Olympics.

Managing director Jahangir Riaz signed the new contract with the EJU, promising the company will continue to "deliver top quality sportswear and sports gear to sports people around the world".

Earlier this year, Green Hill also renewed its deal as the master supplier to world governing body the International Judo Federation.

"We are delighted to be continuing our relationships with such powerful and reliable partners," said an EJU spokesman on the latest deal.

"Our master suppliers represent a significant collaboration in the development of judo throughout Europe and we pleased to have such powerful support."
