Chinas Bai Yawen performs on the beam during the women's qualifications round ©Getty Images The line-up for the women's team final has been confirmed as hosts China excelled on the last day of qualifications at the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Nanning.

The team, comprising of Yawen Bai, Siyi Chen, Huidan Huang, Chunsong Shang, Jiaxin Tan and Jinnan Yao, scored a total of 230.753 points to sandwich themselves between the United States and Russia in second place.

Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Romania and Australia will also compete in the final which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday (October 8) at the Guangxi Sports Centre Gymnasium.

Meanwhile in the women's individual all-around event, Romania's Larisa Iordache registered 58.365 to finish third in the qualifications behind Simone Biles of the US and Aliya Mustafina of Russia, who scored 59.599 and 58.874 respectively yesterday.

The Championships continue tomorrow with China aiming to defend their world title in the men's team final.
