arjowigginsApril 8 - Leading paper product producer Arjowiggins have secured a contract which will see them recognised as official ticket producer for the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2014 FIFA World Cup, which are both to be held in Brazil.

The Paris-based company have been involved in projects in football before, such as the Vivo Azzurro Card scheme with the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), which acts as a Fan Card for the national team, offering various advantages to members.

"Arjowiggins Security has been selected by FIFA for its strong expertise in the implementation of customised global solutions, for its unique and original offer and for its historical presence in Brazil," said Arjowiggins chief executive of security solutions, Michel Jacques Giordani.

"We are proud to team up with such a prestigious institution and will not spare our efforts to help make the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 and 2014 FIFA World Cup great successes."

The 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup is due take place from June 15 until 30 this year, with the 2014 FIFA World Cup set to take place from June 12 to July 13 next year.
