Germany's group games at the EuroBasket 2015 will be broadcast live by ARD and ZDF ©Getty ImagesThe International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has announced an agreement with the sports right agency of Germany's two public broadcasters, ARD and ZDF, to provide live coverage of all the German national team's group phase games at EuroBasket 2015.

Germany will face Iceland, Serbia, Turkey, Italy and Spain in Berlin, the host city for Group B action in Europe's premier basketball event.

ZDF are set to broadcast the games against Iceland and Serbia on September 5 and 6 respectively, while the matches against Turkey, Italy and Spain are due to be televised by ARD between September 8 and 10.

Should Germany qualify for the final phase, any additional games will be broadcast live on ARD or ZDF, subject to tip-off time.

This year will mark a unique year for the tournament as four countries get set to host different aspects of the tournament following the cancellation of the event in Ukraine in June, due to the ongoing political situation and security issues.

Europe's 24 elite men's national teams were, therefore, divided into groups of four for the group phase which will take place in Zagreb, Croatia; Montpellier, France; Berlin, Germany; and Riga, Latvia, before the final phase in Lille, France.

Group A will be played out in Montpellier and is made up of France, Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Israel and Finland, while Group C pits The Netherlands, Croatia, Slovenia, the FYR of Macedonia, Greece and Georgia against each other in Zagreb.

Group D will be hosted by Riga and sees Latvia joined by its two Baltic neighbours, Estonia and Lithuania, as well as the Czech Republic, Belgium and original hosts Ukraine.

EuroBasket 2015 is due to take place from September 5 to 20.
