Day Passes have gone on sale for the FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain ©Getty ImagesWith little over 100 days to go, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has announced the release of day passes for the 2014 World Cup.

The passes will be available for all games from the group phase, round of 16 and quarter-final stages of the tournament allowing fans to watch all matches taking place in one specified venue on any particular day.

In the group phase - due to be played in Bilbao, Gran Canaria, Granada and Sevilla - a day pass grants access to three games with prices starting from €27 ($37.45/£22.20)

When action moves to Barcelona and Madrid for the final phases of competition, fans will have the opportunity to purchase Day Passes starting at €60 ($83.20/£49.30) for the round of 16 and €80 ($111/£65.80) for the quarter-finals, with two games on offer for each of these stages.

Session Tickets, the last type of ticket to be unveiled, are due to go on sale on Tuesday July 1.

Individual tickets for semi-finals and finals, with the latter including both the final and third place game, will also become available on this date.

The 2014 FIBA World Cup, the inaugural event following the transition from the FIBA Basketball World Championships, is scheduled to take place between August 30 and September 14 in Spain and will see 24 of the best teams in the world take to six venues across Spain to battle for the crown of basketball's world champions.
