The British side will be looking to overcome the disappointment of missing out on qualification for this year's World Championships in Spain by securing a fourth consecutive spot at the EuroBasket finals.

The squad will be returning to the Olympic venue following a sold-out appearance against Puerto Rico in August last year, which saw them register a 61-53 win in front of more than 6,000 fans at the "box that rocks".

Despite having its funding controversially withdrawn by UK Sport this week, British Basketball will be hoping that fans will come to the Copper Box to cheer on the British side as they take on Group A opponents Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iceland this summer.

"We're thrilled to be able to have games of this magnitude taking place in London and based on last summer, we are confident fans will turn out in big numbers to show their support and appreciation for the sport and the team," said British Basketball's head of operations Sinéad Gordon.

"With funding having been withdrawn despite the excellent progress, we would encourage everyone associated with the sport to get behind the national team even more than ever, as we look to qualify for EuroBasket 2015.

"We got off to a positive start with Greenwich Leisure Ltd (GLL) last year and had the honour of being the first basketball event to be staged on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park following its reopening.

"We look forward to continue working closely with them again ahead of this summer's internationals."

Britain is due to start its second qualification round series of games with a trip to Iceland on August 10 before returning to the Copper Box three days later to take on Bosnia-Herzegovina on August 13 with a 7.30pm start.

A week later, on August 20, Iceland are  due to come to the Olympic Park and go up against against head coach Joe Prunty's side at 7.30pm, before the British squad travel to Bosnia-Herzegovina for their return clash on August 24.

"The Copper Box Arena is a superb venue and because of its close ties with the Olympics, I am sure it will help to inspire everyone to come even closer together, both on and off the court, in order to get the results needed," said British Basketball chief operating officer Andy Webb.

Tickets for the two games at the Copper Box are priced at £30 ($50/€36) for premium seats with a standard adult ticket is costing £25 ($41/€30) while concession tickets are priced at £18 ($30/€22).

On Monday (March 24) at 9am, a special pre-sale offering takes place with 33 per cent off ticket prices, while tickets will go on general sale a week later on March 31 at 9am.

For more information on tickets visit the Ticket Factory website or call 0844 338 8000 from Monday (March 24).

Should the British squad secure a place at EuroBasket 2015, it is still unclear where the tournament will take place due to the ongoing political turmoil in host country Ukraine.

Despite the tournament's director claiming Ukraine had pulled out of hosting the event, the Ukrainian Basketball Federation later denied this was the case.

A final decision on where EuroBasket 2015 will be held is expected to be made at a meeting of the European Basketball Federation Board in Munich this weekend.
