The deal ensures that should France reach the final of the men's or women's Euobasket either this year or in 2015, or at the World Cup in Spain next year, that the game will be broadcast free-to-air, and also gives France Televisions the option of broadcasting all semi-finals involving France.

Canal+ currently have a deal in place to provide full coverage of all the aforementioned Championships in France.

Should France reach the semi-finals of the ongoing Women's EuroBasket, the game will be televised on France Televisions-owned channel France 4 tomorrow at 8pm Central European Time, as well as on Sport+ owned by the Canal+ Group.

If the team then go on to qualify for the final, the game will be broadcast live on France 3 on Sunday (June 30) from 20:00 CET and also live on Sport+.
