FINA's partnership with NUSSLI runs for the next four years ©AFP/Getty ImagesMarch 18 - Temporary constructions supplier NUSSLI has signed a four-year deal with swimming's governing body.

The agreement, which is effective immediately, sees NUSSLI become the exclusive Official Supplier to the International Swimming Federation (FINA) for all its events until 2017.

NUSSLI will help provide grandstands, platforms, stages and podiums for events around the world.

"We are proud to partner with NUSSLI that is well-known for its technical expertise and substantial experience in planning and building temporary sports structures worldwide," said FINA President Dr Julio C. Maglione.

"We look forward to working with NUSSLI to benefit our organisers in their efforts to continuously improve the on-site experience and to provide optimal conditions for all participants in our competitions."

FINA, the governing body of swimming, diving, water polo, synchronised swimming and open water swimming, holds multiple competitions each year,

Reto Rey, managing director of NUSSLI International, said: "The partnership with FINA, one of the world's most important sports federations, has the aim to support both the federation and its events' organisers with the NUSSLI core competences.

"With this agreement we are convinced to position ourselves at the heart of this sport and to bring in valuable expertise to FINA.''
